Job description

We are searching for an accomplished Digital Media Sales Director to help drive in new revenue and manage a team of sellers at our New York City headquarters. This Manager will be responsible for helping to close new business with advertisers & Ad Agencies as well as be accountable for their team's regional sales goal. Reporting to the VP of East Coast Sales, we are looking for someone who can create and sell digital ad solutions for B2B and B2C clients and can translate ideas into actionable solutions and partnerships for marketers. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has already established a solid expertise in content marketing strategies that will translate well into properly positioning Business Insider’s products and ad solutions.
Job responsibilities:
  • Establish and grow client partnerships using content, native and video solutions, across all industry verticals
  • Mentor, guide and manage the revenue goals of a portion of the NY sales team
  • Support the sales team’s growth by advising on sales strategy, customized content, proposals, meetings, pitches, and account priorities
  • Help drive engagement with clients and deliver an exceptional customer service
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth for your book of business as well as your direct reports; achieve revenue goals as defined by management
  • Represent Business Insider at marketing & advertising events across the East Coast region
  • Four year degree (B.A., B.S.)
  • 8+ years of digital media experience, including mobile, digital video, social, programmatic, and data
  • 2+ years of direct coaching, training and management experience
  • Knowledge of programmatic ad selling and current ad trends.
  • Great attitude and interest in learning new skills
  • Deep network of advertiser and agency relationships with B2B and B2C clients
  • Ability to thrive in an innovative environment
  • Passion for the Business Insider brand and its products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to present and communicate ideas and thoughts to all levels of the organization
